Our 2001 limited has served us well for over 220,000 miles, with no major repairs beyond a radiator and CV joint, and the fact that it eats front brake pads yearly (due to poorly designed brake bias).
That being said, the fact that it was rushed into production is reflected in the many ergonomic issues (and the aforementioned lack of power/mileage)....cup holders behind the driver/passenger, armrests that are far too short (and still block cup holders), daytime running lights that dim the radio to night mode (making it nearly impossible to see during the day), cruise control on/off located on dashboard, while speed etc. on wiper stalk, rear hatch door that opens to the sidewalk side, making access difficult when parked...the list goes on.
On the plus side, the body-on-frame is sturdy (it is still relatively free of rattles and squeaks) and the interior cloth looks almost new, with NO rips or worn spots, and is very stain-resistant.
