Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

  • Adequate Power
  • Great Gas Mileage
  • Handles Well
  • Comfortable
  • Great Price
  • Mostly nice interior

  • Too much Plastic

I recently purchased this car after much research. I was first and foremost concerned that Toyota hadn't fixed all the safety issues they had had in the past. Once, those fears were soothed, I took the plunge and I really could not be happier with my purchase. I wasn't looking for anything too flashy, just something that could get me from point A to point B in relative comfort and reliability. The car hasn't let me down at all. But more impressive is the little extras that I ended up loving. For instance, it had considerably more pep than I expected it too. And for the price I paid, I was very impressed with the relative luxuriousness of the interior. I suppose in some places they used a little more plastic than I would have liked, but they have to save money somewhere. The handling is very impressive too. It gets pretty good gas mileage, and with the price as they are right now, that can make a big difference. Personally this was huge for me because I was upgrading from a 1999 vehicle that got somewhere around 20 miles per gallon. Now, we all know the Camry isn't the most flashy of cars; but, for the price it's one of the best options available, in my opinion. All the basics you expect from a car are there and there are even a few nice surprises that make the purchase totally worthwhile. I hope I don't have to buy another car for a while but if I do I probably get this one again.
