Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

  • Great Gas Mileage
  • Attractive Design
  • Comfortable
  • Adequate Power
  • Handles Well
  • Smooth Ride

  • Lacks Features

A good friend of mine drove a Toyota Highlander that I always admired. It was solid black, and had a great mix of looking stately and sporty, something hard to find in an SUV. I always wanted one, but I was worried about the gas mileage. When the Toyota Highlander Hybrid came out, I knew I wanted one. I finally bought one this past year, and have loved it ever sense. I've bought many cars before, and usually the thrill of driving them wears off after only a few weeks. This wasn't the case for the Toyota Highlander Hybrid. I love driving it, and I love seeing it in my garage. I've had crossover SUVs before, but none of them have handled as well as this one. It is very tight through the corners. The last SUV I had seemed wobbly, and I felt like I really needed to slow down through corners to avoid skidding off the road. In this SUV I feel very safe, and comfortable enough to drive how I like. The backseat in this car is also very roomy. I'm fairly tall, but there was plenty of room in the back for me. I've been forced to ride in the back of some of my friends cars, and none of them were as roomy as the Toyota Highlander.
