Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

  • Handles Well
  • Adequate Power
  • Roomy Interior
  • Comfortable
  • Plenty of tow capacity

  • Hard to park
  • Poor Gas Mileage

If you are looking for a good looking SUV with a lot of power for towing that boat, you're looking at the right vehicle. There is a roomy interior and flexible seating for carrying the extras. The ride is quite smooth and acceleration is a quick 6.7 seconds to get you to 60 mph. The vehicle itself handles very nicely for its size. I chose the 5.7 liter V-8 6 speed automatic as fuel economy is only slightly different between the two sizes offered, and since the greater torque output is what this truck is intended for, towing. It's range is up to 7,400 pounds, when properly equipped. If you think you will go for joyrides careening around the hillsides with the ease of a Mercedes you may want to re-think. While the Sequoia is a smooth ride for an SUV it still won't be the easy graceful Sunday afternoon ride. If going green is your intention, again think of another vehicle, the gas mileage is 12 in the city and at best 17 on the highway. The audio controls are a bit hard to reach while you're driving as well, parking isn't as easy as I would like and the price for a well equipped version can be pricey
