Chrysler 300 Information
Chrysler's 300 model full sized luxury sedan was designed by Ralph Gilles, but the name 300 has a long history in vehicles. The first time the 300 was used for a vehicle was for a special limited edition Cordoba in 1979. The 300 name revived in 1999 when the 300M came out from Chrysler ' a front wheel drive vehicle with a V6 engine based on the same platform as the Chrysler LH. The current Chrysler 300 model is a sporty sedan that is labeled as a luxury vehicle with high performance. There are five editions of the 300 ' the entry level 300, a touring edition, limited edition, 300C and SRT-8 and all are rear wheel drive, unlike the Buick LaCrosse and the Mercury Montego that use the same platform. The standard ending is 3.5L V6 however the 300C model comes with a 5.7 Hemi V8 engine.
