The Ford Freestyle was a sleek and stylish crossover SUV/ station wagon with a short run that began in the 2005 model year and lasted through the 2007 model year. The Freestyle was released as a replacement for the Ford Taurus SUV, and will be released for the 2008 model year under the name Ford Taurus X, coming full circle from it's former position. It is also expected to be replaced, at least partially, by the Ford Flex, which is scheduled for release for the 2009 model year.
