GMC Envoy Information
Today's GMC Envoy has a standard Vortec 4.2L I-6 engine capable of generating 291 horsepower and 227 cu-ft of torque. Available in two distinct trims, the SE and the SLT, the Envoy hosts an array of features. Included in the engineering of the GMC Envoy is StabiliTrak: a series of sensors capable of adjusting engine speed as well as brake pressure during severe driving situations and conditions. A load leveling rear suspension is to found in the Envoy: a system that inflates and deflates the springs in order to maintain smooth driving capabilities at all times. Also included in the Envoy is the quiet package: laminated, acoustical grade windows, fiberglass sound absorbers, and sound absorbing insulation are all in the Envoy to ensure a quiet ride whenever the vehicle is on the road. Finally, OnStar Services are available to ensure security and safety while out on the road: emergency notification and other emergency services are part of the OnStar package.
