The Mazda Tribute has a Ford influence that is discernable to those who know the Ford models well. This American manufactured model was built in Kansas City. The Mazda Tribute is a compact SUV that was built by Ford for the Mazda Motor Corporation. The 5-door SUV was brought out to fill the gap in their model line-up for a small SUV. This model first debuted in 2001 and has been manufactured each model year through 2006. Mazda has recently decided to skip the 2007 season for this model. The current plan is to bring out a completely revised model in 2008.
