Select a used Jaguar X-Type year you’d like to research.
Jaguar, as part of Ford Motor Co., first released the Jaguar X-Type in 2001 to compete with other compact, entry-level luxury sedans by other makers. Powered by a 227hp 3.0L V6 engine and five speed automatic transmission, all wheel-drive is a standard feature as well. This model is based on the European Ford Mondeo sedan, including its drivetrain and suspension. The classic Jaguar styled exterior features flowing lines, a substantial rectangular grille, arched roof, and hooded oval headlights. Both a sedan and wagon are available, with the wagon offering somewhat more headroom and cargo space. Standard safety features include front seat mounted side airbags, side curtain airbags and stability control. On the interior, leather seats, a power driver seat, a moon-roof and wood trim are standard. A luxury package is available for the sedan, but many of the features are standard on the Jaguar X-Type Sport wagon. Optional features include 18 inch wheels, a navigation system, an upgraded sound system, and satellite radio.
