When the Ford Motor Company released the Ford Fusion, it was with high expectations and high hopes. The Fusion has since exceeded those expectations, with it's newly designed three-bar grille, expected to become a trademark design of the Ford lineup for the rest of the decade, leading the way to incredible sales. The sleekly designed Ford Fusion has powered forward since its release in the 2006 model year, selling 142,502 cars in 2006 in the United States. This midsize, four door sedan shares a platform with the Mercury Milan and the Lincoln MKZ, all of which are built in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico and all of which were launched simultaneously. The advertising campaign, first 'Life in Drive', the 'Fusion Challenge', and now 'Ford Challenge' are combining with the great design of this new Ford model to ensure great sales and a real future with the Ford brand.
