The Chrysler Sebring is manufactured in both the hard body and convertible styles. The very first convertible Chrysler Sebring became available in 1996. The Chrysler Sebring convertible has similar specs to the hard body Sebring, and comes with different convertible tops. The convertible Chrysler Sebring has an optional hardtop, soft-top, or wind screen. The windscreen is made lightweight and can be stored in the trunk of the Sebring when it is not being used. Like the hard body Sebring, the convertible Chrysler Sebring comes with a tire pressure monitoring system, airbags, and antilock brakes. The convertible Chrysler Sebring comes with an extra-fortified body, with dual phased steel utilized in the crush zones of the vehicle, and more solid adhesives. Finally, the Chrysler Sebring comes with a number of interior features including cargo space and a convenient center console. Likewise, the hard body Sebring offers plenty of storage space and myriad interior conveniences.
