For nearly a century, the name Lincoln has been synonymous with luxury, comfort, and design. Founded in 1917 by Henry M. Leland and later acquired by Ford Motor Company in 1922, the company offers an extensive line of vehicles to include luxury sedans, pickups, and SUV's. In the 1920's many famous people in America such as Herbert Hoover, W.C. Fields, and Thomas Edison drove these luxury automobiles. The manufacturer had reached premium luxury status by 1930 because of its unique styling, quality, and value. All vehicles are backed by a 6- year/ 70,000 mile limited power-train warranty, providing piece of mind to all their buyers. Recently, the company has expanded its lineup by adding pickup trucks and sport sedans to attract a new generation of consumers. In the fall of 2007, Lincoln will be introducing "Sync" (powered by Microsoft), a voice activated, hands free communications and entertainment system.
