2010 Volvo S80 Consumer Reviews

The Volvo S80 is an average looking luxury sedan. In fact, it is way too generic for my taste and preference in vehicles. However, you do sense that you're looking at a luxury vehicle the moment you lay your eyes on it. Furthermore, this vehicle is filled with cons. One of the cons being it's underwhelming engine. You'd expect more performance out of a pricey ($50K+ to be exact) vehicle than what the 2010 Volvo S80 provides. The gas mileage is also one of the vehicle's cons if you mainly drive in the city. It provides 18 miles per gallon in the city. To be fair though, it does provide a solid 27 miles per gallon on the highway. One of the pros is it's safety features. Especially it's optional blind side monitor. This can be an awesome feature, especially for older drivers, or newer, younger drivers as well. Another one of the pros of the vehicle is it's optional driver fatigue monitor. This feature was baffling to me, but I found it to be an exceptional feature. It will monitor whether it feels you are dosing off and ready to fall asleep on the wheel. I would recommend this vehicle to a friend if they are looking for a luxury sedan with awesome features and engine performance is not one of their priorities. I do feel that there are better options for this vehicle's price tag.
