The Volvo XC60 is possibly one of the best luxury vehicles on the market. It has quite a few safety features which you would think to be a bigger deal despite the lack of popularity of the brand. I like the stylish interior a lot. However the safety features are what interests me, especially as a mother. There is a city safety feature that can identify an object or person in the road ahead. There is a distance alert, and an alert for when your changing lanes. The gas is not the greatest, but that is sort of what you expect from a luxury car like this with better steel and safety features. It is an overall comfortable car to drive and sit in it handles well around corners and even for a petite person it does not feel like a giant vehicle. Storage space is adequate, there is certainly room for the family pet in a small crate in the back and the kids on the seats. Overall a great choice for the safety luxury minded folk, just watch your wallet.
