2010 Volvo XC70 Consumer Reviews

The 2010 Volvo XC70 combines the brand's renowned safety technologies with an attractive luxury wagon design. The car provides a very understated luxurious and quiet ride. It has a admirable fit and finish. The vehicle boasts comfortable seats and plenty of cargo space. It is a wonderful family wagon with great all-weather traction and smooth acceleration. It handles very well in the snow as I found this past winter. I live in New England and after getting buried under two feet of snow, I still managed to make it home safely from work as I passed many vehicles stuck on the side of the road. Another plus is that with the purchase of the vehicle, you receive Volvo's SAFE and SECURE package, which provides 5 worry-free years of warranty, scheduled maintenance, roadside assistance and even "wear and tear." I have been disappointed with the fuel economy and the engine's sluggish performance. On average, I get sixteen miles per gallon. This has been disappointing because we purchased the wagon to replace our gas-guzzling sports utility vehicle, but the XC70 we purchased has worse fuel economy than our old vehicle. I also do not feel that the car's performance lives up to its higher price tag. The six cylinder engine is a bit too loud while cruising. Despite the cons I have listed above, I love it. I know that the car will last for many years, and I feel safe when my family is traveling in the vehicle.
